I must say this, I was going to post it on my facebook then I thought I talk to long and the message is to big for a snipet, and to deep for a quick glance. I warn you in love this will not be easy to read, or easily received, but you will know it is the TRUTH. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
We are in great need in America, for anyone not to see this or speak out would be foolish. I am a simple man with simple ideas and dreams I do not nor have I ever pretended to be anything else. I must say what is on my heart is as a burning flame, that will burn some and cool others. I say this all in love and humbly pray that you will receive it and hear it.
Our nation has lost its way, there is division upon division, the economy is almost destroyed, our leaders have given away our country, we make our allies = enemy's, our enemy's = friends, (speaking of Israel and a few other nations) the sleeping giant is in a coma worried about what people will think about her, worried about not offending anyone, she may have some scars, and at times been a prostitute, a wayward wife, yet the madness needs to stop and some one needs to try to wake her up from her drunken stuper! She has got drunk and given herself away to anyone who would have her. Trust me I know that this is not easy to read or write but you and I both know it is the truth.
This country is headed for disaster as with the rest of the world unless we realize that the answer is not in our government, not with someone else but with you and me. There is a hope for our land. I am just sharing my heart with you. The woman I am speaking of is....the church of Jesus Christ. Who is this church.....You and Me It is not some far away country or some group of people from down the street. We are the church, we need to stop this fighting and back biting amongst us. We need to head the clairion call of Jesus and deny our self and take up our cross and follow Jesus.
Now I know that there are a lot of you who will stop reading this here, or will say to your heart,"that is just Mark being silly or foolish" you may even say, " Mark I know you you are broken and not perfect how can you say what you say, or are going to say?" I am not perfect, I am broken just like the rest of us, but we need to cry out to GOD for grace and mercy to help us be what we are called to be. I am very simple, the GOD of the bible is still alive and well, He did not go anywhere. He is the same yesterday,today and forever. If that is so, than we need to stop pretending that everything is alright and we need to cry aloud like the people of old and say, "God you saved us, you started this work in me no please finish it, help me to be what you need me to be.ONE like you do, and please HEAL OUR LAND!"
I am convinced it is not a democrat or a republican that is going to change this land, but it is you and me doing the will of GOD one day at a time. Praying DOWN the power of Heaven to flow thru this land. We need to stop just going to church as a building and chilling out and singing a few songs then going home and not being effective or being impotent. Some of you are more worried about everyone else and how they live rather than really looking at your own heart and asking," Am I doing everything the God wants me to do?"
These dudes asked Jesus, in John chapter 6 " what do we have to do to do the work that God requires? Jesus said, " the work of God is to believe in the one whom he has sent" If we believe that Jesus really did die for me,If He was raised from the dead, if He is real than I want Him to use me and fill me with everything that He is to change the world one person at a time.
Now I know I have said a lot of things here, I know you can see that a lot of things are happening in the world. I am just trying to get you and me to really trust God for EVERYTHING. DO not wait for someone else to make a difference in the world YOU be the difference, You be the one to smile at someone, to hold the door open for someone, to help someone off the ground when they have fallen, You be the one to give the hug, or an encouraging word. Together we SHALL make a difference.
Pray like your life depends on it. Like if GOD does not come thru you and I are toast.
