Eyes on the prize
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Just a few thoughts to remind you to keep the main thing, the "MAIN THING" In this verse above you find the key to living everyday life. Notice the first part that says "we do not lose heart", which is easy to do if your not careful. How can you not lose heart? You keep your eyes on that which is important. TO do what the next verse says to keep your eyes on what is unseen rather than on what is seen.
I know it sounds like a mystery but it is not. You see every day you have something, someone struggling for our attention. When we take our eyes off of what is important and place it on things that are not, we are easily tripped up. You get your eyes more on the problem rather than the problem solver.
What are some of those things that are unseen? Do you see love? Can you see eternity? Can you see eternal life or Heaven? You see all of these by faith.
Remember when your mis understood or saddened byt situations remember to look up and even if you do not believe in a supreme being you must admit that the sky in it self is larger than you and in the scheme of things you are merely a speck of dust on a marble.
So look to what is unseen for those are the things that will last forever. Look to GOD for He alone is invisible yet visible. You say, "Mark, now we know your crazy did you just say GOD is visible?" in some ways yes!! See him in the love of a man and a woman, in the self sacrificing love of one who offers their lives in the service of another. In the way the rainbow stretches across the sky, or stars that glitter in the night sky.
So take this with you, your not alone, your hopes and dreams will keep you moving, your love of life will be the spark that keeps you striving for all that is good. Be encouraged and do not stop.

The frustrations of life
So I was wanting to just vent a bit and give a shout out to all of you out there who have gotten so frustrated with your PC that it was like having a cinder block smash it on your barefoot, or like bending over to pick something up and BAM! you hit your head so hard you are knocked over!!Well if you have ever had something like that happen maybe this is for you.
I am super busy trying to get caught up with things and get my jobs accomplished that need to be done. These self imposed little goals I make plus those that are laid out before you by those you work for. Everything is good and going along fine. Trying to have the right attitude in your heart but things just do not feel right.
I try to ignore it but it just seemed that every time I turned around something else would not work or get a interruption or something. You know how it is, even though you may have the best intentions sometimes that does not even help you.
So I turn on all the gear that needs to get loaded and turned on and things are going well and WHAMO....we...seem to .....have a ....computer.....glit..ch some where and.... you get the picture. Not that I really was triping because I have had this problem before it just seemed to happen all day.
SOmetimes you have to chuckle at yourself and just smile. We get so out of shape in our hearts when things just do not go our way. I know people that absolutely lose their minds when that happens as I am sure you do as well. I think the thing is that when those times come to us we need to try and remember that they are tools to clean our hearts and forge in us a better character rather than for you and me to freak out and get all crazy in our hearts.
So here is to all of you who may have had a bad day you are NOT ALONE we all are in on the secret that the world is a tough place do not let the situations in life dictate who you will be but grab them by the horns and force these things in life to bend to your will and let them create in you a better person.
